Resources

Fostering a love of reading is at the heart of this Challenge. Reading skills are a key indicator of future academic success, so it is our goal to encourage the community to rally around reading.

Tips & Tricks for Parents

We put together some useful tips to help take reading at home to the next level.

  • Make reading a regular activity in your home.
  • Set a good example. Modeling behavior is one of the best ways to encourage an action.
  • Let your children choose what they want to read. They will be more likely to engage.
  • Visit the library. Nothing can replace the excitement and joy of physically checking out a book to read.

Our community is full of opportunities to enhance your child's education.
